This book provides an excellent history of Granby in pictorial form. I especially appreciated the old photographs and the attempt by the author to describe the setting and location of the picture. The descriptions that go along with the older photo were particularly interesting in that many of the family names are still common names in the area. The pictures related to the building of the Big Thompson Water project were great. It is clear from the earliest pictures to the more recent ones that settling Middle Park is an on-going challenge. The whole book and especially the last chapter makes one aware of what a blessing it is to live in this area. I would have loved to read more details about each picture.
